HOUSTON As many struggle to find work in the U.S., one industry is certainly booming: gaming.

Bazinga, a Filipino-owned digital entertainment company based in Texas is growing and is now looking for talented individuals as part of their team.

“It doesn’t matter what age you are,” said Bazinga president and CEO Homer Nievera.

“If we are developing games for younger people, we will hire young people. And if you are developing games for the senior crowd, we also want to get older people to help us,” he added.

The company has developed apps like Gimik@Metro and the first Filipino game on Facebook, WordTrotter.

With their newly opened offices in Texas and California, they aim to attract more Pinoy developers to join them.

Before the year ends, Bazinga will open another office in Las Vegas, New York and London.
